WIFI
This cabin offers free high-speed fiber internet to our guests. Phone service can be challenging, so we recommend adding a Wi-Fi Calling app to your phone or activating the one provided by your carrier.
SMOKING
This is a non-smoking cabin, if you smoke please use the outside deck and never discard butts on the property.
Always leave doors closed while smoking.
FIREPLACE
The fireplace is electric. Remote Provided.
GRILL
The gas grill is located on the deck. Use extreme caution when igniting.
HEAT & AIR UNIT
The home has central Heating and Air Conditioning. The thermostat is located in the hallway. Make yourself comfortable and follow the check-out procedures for the required settings when vacating.
FIRE SAFETY
Due to the grave and always-present risk of fire, we kindly request that you refrain from leaving candles burning or having any other type of open flame on the property. The abundance of natural debris and proximity to the National Forest pose an extreme risk of wildfires.
INSECTS
Insects are a natural part of our mountain environment. If there are insects present, this does not reflect a lack of cleanliness on the part of our cleaners. It is a direct result of our cabin’s proximity to the forest. Changes in weather cause insects to be more active at different times of the year. The cabin is treated regularly for all types of insects. Therefore, do not be alarmed if you see dead insects in this cabin. The dead insects are simply evidence that our exterminator has recently treated this home.
HOT TUB
Upon arrival, set the hot tub temperature to the desired temp (generally between 100 and 102 degrees). Always keep the cover on when not in use to help maintain the temperature setting. (More details provided on the Hot Tub page) Don’t be alarmed at any sediment at the bottom of the tub, as all the hot tubs are filled with well water. ENJOY!!
TRASH
We have provided a bear-proof trash can under the front steps. Please ensure the can is latched securely and adequately. These are very effective against bears and other wildlife if secure.
Fire Pit
Fire pit provided. Please use extreme caution when building a fire and keep wood sizes within the parameters of the fire pit.
NOISE ORDINANCE
Please be respectful of others enjoying their vacation time and be aware of how well sounds travel in the woods. Please be respectful of quiet hours, which begin at 9 pm, for the benefit of neighboring owners and guests.
Television & Internet
Television is streaming through fiber internet. Sling TV is provided in the living room. You may choose to log in to your favorite app, but please remember to log out before vacating the property. Please do not remove remotes from individual rooms. Each is programmed for a specific television and is not interchangeable. Please do not alter TV input settings.
